Career Highlights

Ashley Caton's Career Highlights

Self-discovery has been a journey for me over the last thirty years of my life.  After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2002, I discovered that my strengths lie in building strong core relationships through networking.  My passions carried me to a place full of achievements and  unexpected success.  In 2003, I joined MAB Flooring in a quest to be one of the industries leader in multi-family housing flooring services.  It was then that I found my strengths in speaking to top executives and creating key strategic relationships that would drive revenue gains for MAB Flooring.  I am very fortunate to call Marie Bell not only my mentor in sales knowledge and interpersonal communication skills, but also my mother.  This is a women whose legacy has affected and will continue to effect hundreds of lives.  Her tenacity to keep striving, stay honest, and be a top performer modeled for me a building block of success.  I honestly can say that I have learned from the best of entrepreneurs.  She instituted the business, MAB Flooring, in 1998 and has grown the company into a mulit-million dollar success story.  Her entrepreneurial spirit gave me the drive to also take part in  reaching for the stars.  Within 3 years of strategic selling for MAB Flooring, the opportunity arose for me to shine in my abilities of selling design services to the wealthy home-buyer.  I found a passion for helping others transform their most treasured thoughts and ideas into their dream home.  Little did I know that within my first year of selling home design services for interior and exterior finishes, that my designs would win multiple awards and be featured in magazines and billboards.  From 2006 to 2009, my gross profit increased by 23% each year.  Even though the home building market has taken a big toll on sales, I am still striving for success through continuing education and social networks.  My involvement in key partnerships within the Houston Apartment Association and online networks will produce opportunities for building my legacy to leave behind.
